Chakras are energy centers within the body.  There are seven main points, each one of a different colour to identify each area of the body it is attuned to.  We can tap into any one particular colour at any time to work with on an emotional, physical or spiritual level. Working with the chakra centers’ gives insight and understanding of the mind, body and spirit. There are also many other chakra points of colour.

Listed below are the main chakras.   

Purple - The crown chakra

A strong spiritual and cosmic connection bringing with it a sense of purpose, self growth, humility, visions and clairvoyance.  Awareness and acceptance of the new spiritual pathway

Indigo – The brow chakra-(third eye)

The indigo chakra is a colour predominant in people who have psychic ability. Awakening your own spiritual development and becoming aware of your own intuition and insights also brings you to the path of using that psychic ability. As you develop more in the spiritual sense indigo increases your own strengths.

Blue – The throat chakra

A blue chakra represents solid judgment, reliability and progress. This colour is often found in people who channel.  It is a healing colour.

Green – The heart chakra

A green chakra is usually found in confident, friendly and reliable people. Calm and grounded, allowing them to be practical down to earth advisers

Yellow – The solar plexus chakra

A yellow chakra suggests the colour of the sun, bringing with it a happy feeling of wellbeing.  Quicksilver mental abilities allow rational, flexible thinking to be used within the yellow aura.  The sense of direction and purpose becomes stronger

Orange – The creative self

An orange chakra is used mainly for creativity, gut level feelings or emotions.  The sudden surge of creativity in thoughts or actions comes from this colour.  The compulsion to use your gifts stems from this beautiful warm colour. Ideas, inspiration, writing, music, artists and all creators are products of this aura.

Red – The base chakra
A clear red chakra indicates power. It is a positive energy. It is the base chakra used for passion, survival, sexuality and reproduction. The force and power of the red leads you to the colour of the creative orange aura.

Pink – Also the heart chakra

 I always see this as part of the heart chakra. A pink chakra indicates warmth from a loving heart including a compassionate nature.  Intense love and compassion flow on to help humanity.  Pink is the universal colour of love

White – this is the colour I also see around the crown chakra.I see it as a direct link to god and the essence of who you are. It can turn to silver white also. I know it is total connection to the universe of love and commitment to the higher self.
